This gave us real confidence that we would not face unexpected costs due to anything being missed from the scope.This was our third renovation with Pope Homes, having completed two projects in Rotorua and now one in Pāpāmoa. Throughout the project, the Pope Homes team demonstrated a high level of professionalism and communication. What impressed us most was how informed and engaged every team member was. This showed that communication within their team was strong and consistent, which in turn gave us confidence that the project was well managed.Budget transparency was a key strength. In particular, we had a bespoke idea for our rangehood that the team had not completed before. By working collaboratively and even using AI to help visualise the outcome, they were able to deliver exactly what we had envisioned. It is a true reflection of their willingness to innovate and achieve a high-quality finish.As expected with a renovation of this nature, the project extended beyond the original timeline due to unforeseen issues discovered once the walls were opened up. This was clearly communicated to us from the beginning, and the team set realistic expectations about the uncertainties that come with renovating older homes. Importantly, outside of these renovation-related delays, all other aspects of the project and contractors coordinated by Pope Homes were delivered on time and well managed.Overall, we found Pope Homes to be thorough, communicative and highly professional. Their attention to detail, strong team culture and commitment to keeping us informed made what could have been a stressful process far more manageable. Erin Pope and his amazing team transformed a 90-year-old garage into the beautiful home I now live in. I could not have been in better hands. I was kept up to date and informed throughout the build. We chose to work with Pope Homes for their personalised, customisable service with a reputation for quality finishing. Coming into our build, we had a very specific layout and aesthetic in mind. The team paired us with an architect they felt would best suit our project and property and throughout our build, employed only trusted contractors with an equal standard of service. We loved that we had the same team of familiar faces on-site for the entirety of our build. The boys battled unprecedented weather without complaint and our Foreman in particular went above and beyond to include us in every aspect of planning, scheduling and meetings as needed to ensure our vision came to life as we had dreamed of. We found Pope Homes amazing to deal with from start to finish. The scale of our renovation was daunting to start with, Erin and his team took all the worries away from renovating.
