Kerswell Terrace

This extensive remediation and renovation project involved the complete recladding of a two-storey residential home following the discovery of weathertightness issues associated with the existing plaster cladding system.

All existing plaster cladding and aluminium joinery were removed, allowing full inspection and remediation of the building envelope before constructing a modern, Code-compliant exterior. The home also underwent significant architectural alterations: internal reconfiguration, new window and door openings, new upper and lower decks, a carport, and upgrades to insulation and structural framing.

The new exterior features James Hardie Oblique weatherboard cladding over a 20mm drained cavity, Linea detailing, Colorsteel ribbed profile roofing, kwila hardwood decking, timber architectural screening and new aluminium joinery throughout. Total building area: 163.1m².
