Renovations
Dickson Road
Pāpāmoa
The Dickson Road renovation is a complete transformation of an existing two-storey home in Pāpāmoa, designed to modernise both its appearance and functionality while addressing significant construction issues uncovered throughout the renovation process.
Originally planned as an extensive renovation, the project evolved as demolition exposed concealed defects and historic workmanship deficiencies within the existing structure. Damaged framing and non-compliant construction required careful rectification before new work could proceed.
The renovation includes a comprehensive reconfiguration of both levels, creating improved living spaces, new bedrooms, updated bathrooms, a modern kitchen with scullery, and an enhanced connection to the outdoors with a new deck. Significant structural alterations, including removal of load-bearing walls, new engineered beams, roof framing modifications, replacement staircases and upgraded bracing, support the new layout.
Externally, the home received new cladding, replacement windows and doors, a full new roof and contemporary architectural detailing, giving the property an entirely refreshed appearance while significantly improving its weathertightness and long-term durability.

From the outset, Pope Homes stood out. This was our third renovation with Pope Homes. The craftsmanship across the build was excellent.
